Two Spaces Remain For Weaving Trust Assembly
Two spaces remain for UNISON members to attend the historic Weaving Trust Assembly, hosted by Brighton & Hove Citizens, on 6th May, 6:00–7:30pm at the Sallis Benney Theatre, Grand Parade.
This citywide gathering will bring together around 250 people from different institutions in Brighton and Hove for a series of short, meaningful conversations designed to build trust across difference.
At a time when society feels increasingly divided, Weaving Trust offers a simple but powerful response: creating space to listen, connect, and relate to those we may not agree with. While change won’t happen overnight, these conversations help strengthen our collective ability to engage with empathy and patience.
As one participant from a previous Weaving Trust shared: “To see someone in the street and think not of something I saw on the news, but of a real conversation I once had with someone like them.”
