National day of action for the Fair Visa Campaign

Migrant workers in the care sector are exploited by unscrupulous employers who wave the threat of deportation over them.

This Friday 24 April, members are coming together to support friends and colleagues from overseas who keep our care services running. Whether you’re a migrant worker, a care worker, or neither, this day of action is for all UNISON members to stand in solidarity and make our collective voice heard.

It’s time for the Government to reverse their regressive immigration plans and put forward real plans for the issues in the care sector.
