Half A Million Join Together Against The Far Right

Our branch was proud to be a part of the Together March, with several branch officers going along with the banner and also supporting members to attend by contributing towards subsidised travel.

It was also great to see our new General Secretary, Andrea Egan, hosting the stage at Whitehall. The mood on the march was incredibly positive, inclusive and powerful and was a much needed re-charge of our hope batteries! It was also so big that the front had reached the finish point before the back of the march had even left!

Figures putting the march at 500,000 makes it the biggest anti-fascist mobilisations in our country’s history.
