UNISON NEC elections: Our branch's candidate and our nominations

National executive council (NEC)

UNISON’s NEC elections come round once every 2 years and are now open. It’s a postal ballot and members can vote by returning their ballot forms in the pre-paid envelope, both of which will be sent with the election booklets to their home address.

The more members who vote, the more meaningful and democratic these elections are. The deadline to vote is Wednesday 21 May 2025.

Nominations

Our own Joint Branch Secretary, Corinna Edwards-Colledge is standing for the NEC for the first time for one of the region's women's seats. Corinna was successful in gaining 26 nominations from branches in the region. A new record in the South East for a woman's seat.

As a branch we have nominated the following candidates. We believe they'll continue the work to make UNISON a truly member-led activist and organising union. They'll also build on and grow the great work already done by the NEC over the last 2 years.
