Members Equalities and Safety Survey

This survey is being conducted by UNISON Brighton & Hove Branch to better understand the experiences of frontline workers across the public, private, community and voluntary sectors in Brighton & Hove and surrounding areas.

We are collecting information in order to understand the experiences and concerns of frontline workers; identify trends relating to abuse, hate crime, discrimination and workplace safety; improve support, representation and campaigning activity; and inform discussions with employers, local authorities, and community organisations.

Your responses will be considered anonymously so that individuals cannot be identified unless you give us explicit consent to get in touch with you about your answers. Personal data will not be sold or used for commercial purposes. We will not share identifiable personal information outside UNISON. We will only keep personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this statement. Survey responses containing identifiable information will normally be retained for up to 24 months after the close of the project, after which they will be securely deleted or anonymised.
